This is the second of a series of four sessions delivered by Bee Bowman designed to provide artists and makers with practical tools to navigate real challenges when trying to build an online presence for your creative practice.

Session 2: AI As Your Marketing Partner

In this session, you’ll learn:

• Why does digital marketing feel hard for makers? Addressing the barriers and how to reframe AI as a collaborative tool
• Social media – understanding the platforms and choosing the right ones for your craft
• How to build a simple content rhythm you can maintain on your own
• How to use AI to generate social content and plan ahead
• How to set up and optimise your Google Business Profile so local buyers can find you

These workshops are designed for all skill levels.

What you need to bring:

• Smartphone or laptop with internet access
• Photos of two or three of your current products or artworks
• A short description of your creative practice, in your own words
• Any existing social media accounts, website or online shop details (even if these are works in progress)
• A willingness to experiment and make something imperfect during each session

This workshop series focuses on the digital journey of artists, makers and designers in bringing their work to market, with a strong emphasis on how artificial intelligence can function as a genuine working partner for solo practitioners. Throughout these workshops you’ll use your own creative practice as the source material, and come away with ready-to-use solutions from each session.

Each workshop is designed to target specific outcomes and can be attended individually depending on your needs and interests. If you choose to attend the whole series, you’ll leave with a complete AI-assisted digital presence and a set of tools you can continue to use independently.

These workshops are free, but registrations are essential.
