Sarah Stamm

Sarah Stamm proudly hails from Albury, a town deeply ingrained in her family and personal history. Growing up in this wonderful community, she nurtured her creative talents through local schools and a supportive environment. Her studies in Visual Arts and Design took her across various cities in Australia, leading to a fulfilling career in Interior Design in Sydney and Southern NSW and North-East Victoria. Recently, Sarah transitioned to a successful business making bespoke handmade treasures from her home-based studio in Beechworth.

Sarah’s involvement in The Pumphouse Think Tank is driven by a heartfelt desire to give back to her community and promote the creative arts in the Albury region. She sees The Pumphouse as a central gathering place for creative makers from across the region, offering diverse experiences from crafting physical art pieces to teaching and inspiring others.

Sarah believes the Pumphouse’s open-minded philosophy and the range of tools and equipment it offers will provide artists with unique opportunities to hone their skills and explore new artistic endeavors. Supported by Albury City Council, the Pumphouse aims to be a nurturing space that fosters creativity and collaboration.

Over the coming years, Sarah hopes to see The Pumphouse become a nationally recognized hub of artistic energy, supporting local artists’ development and providing inspiration for all. She looks forward to a vibrant community where experienced artists mentor emerging talent, and everyone feels included and supported.
