Kerrie Docker

Kerrie’s involvement with The Pumphouse Think Tank stems from her experience teaching ceramics classes at Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA), where she saw challenges students faced  wanting to set up studio facilities and the high cost of equipment. The Pumphouse presented an exciting opportunity for her to contribute her expertise and ensure the facility benefits the community to the fullest.

She envisions The Pumphouse as a beautiful heritage building that will serve as an artistic hub, providing opportunities for people from Albury-Wodonga to pursue art careers and elevate young Australian artists. Kerrie hopes the facility will enable both hobbyists and aspiring professionals to explore their passions, network with like-minded individuals, and attend workshops with industry experts.

Kerrie wants to see The Pumphouse as a thriving creative hub with accessible hours and a wide reach, facilitating successful art careers and community support for the arts. She envisions a dynamic, collaborative, and thriving artistic community that will leave a lasting impact on Albury/Wodonga and beyond.

Throughout her time with The Pumphouse Think Tank, Kerrie has enjoyed working with a diverse group of individuals, each bringing their unique perspectives and expertise to the table. This collaborative spirit has been key to the project’s success, and Kerrie looks forward to continuing to work with her fellow Think Tank members to bring The Pumphouse vision to life.
