Join us in welcoming Lillardia Briggs-Houston, the first of our artists in residence for 2025/26. Lillardia will be working at The Pumphouse during March, focusing on part of a portfolio of work to be released later this year. Come along to this open studio, connect with Lillardia and watch her bring her work to life.
As a Wiradjuri, Gangalu, Yorta Yorta artist and fashion designer based in Bungambrawtha /Albury-Wodonga, Lillardia creates textiles and garments using traditional Southeast Aboriginal cultural practices like carving, dyeing, and weaving.
Her award-winning work has been featured in Vogue Australia, Marie Claire and Peppermint, and has been acquired by the Powerhouse Museum.
