Learn the foundations of creating and mounting wall-based ceramics with Sam Gold.
Sam will teach you about weight, balance and aesthetics, and help you explore texture, shape and decoration to craft your own ceramic art piece. You’ll develop an understanding of different mounting techniques and have plenty of opportunity to ask questions about Sam’s practice and ceramics in general. This workshop is designed for both beginners and more advanced participants.
Includes all tuition, materials, equipment and firing of work.

About the Artist
Sam is a South Australian artist working with clay as a representation of a living material in transition. They explore identity and connection through ceramic sculpture and installation. Sam has received multiple awards for their work and has exhibited at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
